Marie Dressler
is a well loved part of Cobourg's Heritage - she was born here
and her original house has been restored and part of it is
used as a museum. The rest is used as the town's tourist
office.
This site was created and is maintained by a couple of members
of the Vintage Film Festival committee - this Festival was
started as a way to help raise money to restore Dressler
House but continues as a way of remembering Marie Dressler
as well as the Movies of her time.
History and Heritage are in the forefront of activities
in Cobourg as evidenced by many related activities but only
some of these are on the web.
